Emese Varga
Audit Manager
Emese joined Niveus Audit in 2026 as a Manager. During her career, she spent several years working in the audit department of one of the Big Four firms. Her professional background is further strengthened by her experience as a Head Controller, Finance Manager and SOX Consultant, roles through which she gained significant leadership experience and advanced accounting expertise. Most recently, she worked for seven years at a Hungarian-owned audit firm.
Her experience covers audits of the financial statements of various manufacturing, trading and service companies, including businesses operating in retail, telecommunications, IT, contract manufacturing and hospitality. She has also participated in the performance of both Hungarian statutory audits and group audits.
Emese holds a degree in Finance from the College of Finance and Accountancy and later graduated as an economist from the Faculty of Economics of Janus Pannonius University. She is a certified auditor.
