The Court of Justice of the European Union has issued another judgment with Hungarian relevance concerning the exercise of VAT deduction rights. The decision may be particularly important where an invoice reaches the purchaser only years later for reasons beyond the purchaser’s control.
From August 2026, the European Union’s new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, the PPWR, will become applicable and may significantly reshape companies’ packaging practices. The new regulation may affect not only manufacturers, but also importers, distributors and any business placing packaged products on the EU market.
