From 5 June 2026, reports to be submitted to the Hungarian Tax Authority’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Office will move to a new electronic platform. The previous ÁNYK-based solution will be replaced by ONYA, while the reporting obligations will continue to require close attention from the affected service providers.

The Court of Justice of the European Union examined, in a Hungarian VAT case, the conditions under which a period already closed by a tax audit may be corrected retrospectively.
